Created in 2019 by François Chautemps, Melvin Crabol, Rémi Chenevas-Paule and Mathieu Bedwani, Collection Privée is born from the idea of blending the 80s aesthetic and a more modern production sound from our era. The band aimed to create retro-futuristic music, inspired by disco and synth-wave from Change or Cerrone, to modern productions from acts like Daft Punk or Parcels.
