Commissioned by the NDR (Norddeutscher Rundfunk) this opus features the unique characters of each soloists of the Bigband along a variety of aesthetic from jazz, rock, latin and contemporary music. The melding of these themes symbolizes the intertwining of cultural identities, emphasizing a rich tapestry of experiences that defines our sense of home.
La Dimora Dell’Altrove, commissioned by the NDR, goes beyond mere musical composition; it serves as a manifesto of hope and unity. It challenges us to reflect on the true meaning of home, recognizing that, in our pursuit of place and identity, we can find a sense of affinity that transcends cultural and physical boundaries. Music, in this context, emerges as a universal language that embraces diversity, encouraging us to welcome differences rather than fear them.
