A blend of blatant honesty and unflinching hope permeate American singer-songwriter Jillian Jacqueline’s music. Inspired by an array of musical greats from Patsy Cline to Elvis Presley, Patty Loveless and Mary Chapin Carpenter, Jacqueline’s precocious talents and ability to dig deep make her a natural-born storyteller. With country-pop sensibilities, inviting melodies, honeyed vocals and sharp, self-aware lyrics, Jacqueline’s music has left listeners spellbound and landed her on a range of iconic stages from the Ryman Auditorium to the Grand Ole Opry and Late Night with Seth Meyers. Born in Chester Springs, PA, the artist began writing and performing at a young age. Jacqueline landed a gig on Broadway at 9 years-old where she was discovered by musical icon Kenny Rogers. After moving to Nashville, Jacqueline swiftly made a name for herself. In 2014, she collaborated with Richard Marx on a string of songs including her single “Overdue,” featuring harmony vocals from Vince Gill. Since then, her releases have amassed millions of plays and critical acclaim from Rolling Stone, NPR, CMT, Billboard and more. After signing with Big Loud Records in 2016, Jacqueline released a series of EPs and singles—like “If I Were You,” featuring Keith Urban. In 2022, Jacqueline released her debut album Honestly (produced by long-time friend and collaborator Tofer Brown) via Virgin Records. But her forthcoming album, MotherDaughterSisterWife, is her most evocative offering yet. After a period of intense transformation following the birth of her son, Jacqueline discovered her creativity wasn’t stifled—it soared. “Becoming a mother opened me up to acknowledging my own stories, patterns and scars in a way I hadn’t anticipated,” she says. “I felt like I was bursting at the seams with inspiration—it was relentless.” Jacqueline’s unmatched introspection allowed her to examine her new role whole-heartedly, bringing her signature bare-it-all storytelling to even greater depths. In fact, tracks like “Year of the Dragon” and “Bright Eyed Baby” (produced by Ian Walsh) shimmer with an emotional honesty so brutal it’s downright beautiful.
This new album marks an evolution in Jacqueline’s musical landscape—one that’s as vibrant as it is visceral. “At its heart, this record is a time capsule of the most intimate moments of a wilderness season.”
