Danny Twelvetree

"My creativity has always been paramount in my musical and artistic experiences, and my destiny is to share with the masses, to inspire, grow, cultivate, and enthuse the generations before me and the ones that come after me." Born to West Indian parents, that hailed from Haiti, Twelvie (Danny Twelvetree) is the 3rd born from the quartet of “blessings” of his “personal heroes”- His parents. Raised on the southside of Chicago, and given the opportunities to expand on his creativity, Twelvie learned many lessons that the streets, and his educational environment would eventually teach him, and used them to courageously push on to the development of the brand, known as 888 MMG. Family is paramount to a Haitian upbringing, and with these experiences instilled in him, at a young age, he knew the qualities that he wanted in the creation of this authentic and eclectic group of awesome thinkers, innovative artists, and pioneering illustrators of originality. Musical influences are a far range starting from Caribbean influences such as Coupe Cloue, Larose Dieudonne, and Beres Hammond, to revolutionary artists, such as The Beatles, Tupac Shakur, Michael Jackson, Notorious B.I.G., and the list goes on… 888MMG is interested in all social responsibility aspects of the City of Chicago, to give back to the youth, and preserve the musical talents of our generation, in hopes of establishing a beacon of integrity and hardworking perseverance to the illustration of ARTISTRY.
