Ginger Winn

Born in South Carolina and now living in South Africa, Winn began singing and songwriting before she was 10 years old. At 16, she left high school behind and fully dedicated herself to musical pursuits, taking on various jobs to support herself – including a gig as a pastry chef, which lasted for three years. Ginger Winn used to sing to herself throughout the day, her hands sticky with egg, flour, salt, and sugar as she went about her work as a pastry chef. Behind all that singing was a dream – one many of us have had: To leave the 9 to 5 behind and make music full-time. To sing her songs to audiences far and wide; to share her passion with anyone and everyone willing to listen. Ginger Winn reintroduced herself as a singer/songwriter in March of this year, and today she celebrates her dream come true with the announcement of her upcoming debut album "Stop-Motion". - Atwood Magazine
