Fabiana Martone - Bio
Neapolitan singer of varied and multifaceted musical background. She began her singing career in her twenties and from the beginning of her musical experience Fabiana was strongly influenced by jazz music having studied with some of the most well-known names on the Neapolitan -and international- jazz scene.
There is no lack of experience in many other musical fields, from gospel to folk, from Neapolitan classical to experimental music, and her theatrical works as a singer/actress in various shows are also noteworthy.
Fabiana is now well known for being the voice of Nu Genea, an extraordinary project, which has brought the Neapolitan music scene back to worldwide attention, acting as a driving force and forerunner for the many old and new productions, which are positively affected by the wave of attention paid to Naples.
The Neapolitan dialect has become a must, and for those who, like Fabiana, had already rediscovered the veracity of belonging it is a moment of expressive grace.
Fabiana is also a renowned singing teacher, a graduate of the conservatory, an architect (in spirit and no longer by profession), author and composer of lyrics and music for herself and others, interior re-looker and painter/designer by passion, costume designer (she designs and makes his own costumes), graphics (he made many of his own record covers); she is also the artistic director of the project “Brava la Cantante show”- swing, r&b from the 50's and rock and roll.
Moreover she is a music teacher at a private primary school in the morning and the director of the theater and music courses in the same private institute for the extra school activities.
