Atlantis

It’s hard to believe that it has been 25 years since Atlantis released their first track! Atlantis are UK trance artists George Winkworth (AKA Slipstream), Paul Kershaw & Lloyd Horton. The band formed in 1998, at Subterrania studio in the basement of their shop - Subterrania records in Leamington Spa. After a catastrophic flood wiped out the studio and everything in it that spring, the studio was rebuilt and in taking inspiration from the previously submerged space, the name Atlantis was adopted for the newly formed act. Fiji was the first track to be written and they would go on to create some very well loved productions, including Voyager II, Vengeance, Neurofun, Virus and more. 25 years on and what better way to mark the occasion than to release a vinyl record with 3 modern interpretations of some of those classics, remixed by some of the most talented underground trance producers currently out there, plus a brand new release from George under his Slipstream alias. So help us celebrate the milestone and grab yourself a little piece of trance history. Enjoy!
