Chi Rho was born December 1996 in Santa Ana, CA and was Raised in the City of Anaheim, CA. XP Chi Rho's real name is Xavier John Anthony Placencio and explains the meaning behind his stage name: "In Greek, the letter X is pronounced 'Chi' and the letter P is pronounced 'Rho'. Some early Christians (who spoke Greek) used XP as a phonetic acronym for the Greek word 'Χριστός' or 'Christós' meaning Christ, and is also my initials. Emperor Constine of Rome also popularized the Chi Rho Symbol in his efforts to expand his empire. there is a lot of history and symbolism behind it but, the stage name 'XP Chi Rho' means 'Xavier Placencio the Christ', or 'experience Christ'."
