Logan Halstead: Logan Halstead began writing songs around the age of 14, and now, at 18, he is already setting himself up as one of the next great songwriters coming out of Appalachia. With no prior releases to DSPs, videos of Halstead performing at a local radio station and other festivals have begun to garner him quite the following. He writes about what he’s seen growing up in the mining area of Boone County, West Virginia and delivers the stories with a simple authenticity and impressive maturity.
