We jammed for a year and found a murky pocket. MOONSHOTS is our debut album, but it existed well before us: the concrete-floored unit on South Hill Street follows its own logic. We improvised and listened, letting the red light run until the songs floated down from the rafters. They took us to a silvery world of dancing animals and searing saw-waves. MOONSHOTS is a collection of magical accidents tied up in moonlight.

SHE came from Baltimore. Two brothers, looking for a foot in the door in the Los Angeles session circuit, built a studio on South Hill Street. The South Hill Experiment is what we make on our own time, a refuge for magic. Every song is a friend, every sound a what-if.
