Released on June 15, 2014, exactly 35 years after the release of Unknown Pleasures, 3.5 Decades - A Joy Division Italian Tribute is a loving and honest tribute to the memory of the cult band Joy Division and the never-enough-lamented Ian Curtis, composed solely of Italian bands chosen among the best in activity at that time. After record sales and downloads on bandcamp (more than 2000 downloads) and the release in USB format with case (100 copies), we decided to give a new shape to this compilation that has entered the hearts of fans all over the world.
This vinyl edition, enhanced by the fact it will be released in a limited, non-replicable and hand-numbered edition, comes out exactly 10 years later, on the 45th anniversary of the release of Unknown Pleasures. For this reason, this physical edition, in addition to giving voice and life to this memory, is renamed 4.5 Decades - A Joy Division Italian Tribute and consequently will have a small modification on the title and graphics on the cover and back, because collecting is - and always will be - an "Unknown Pleasure".
