PWFM is a young community-based and a collaborative radio who aims to promote young producers not yet or little known to the public. The huge enthusiasm for the radio made us realize that a lot of new talents didn't get the exposure they deserved, so keeping up with the community based approach we cherish, we paired up with Diggers Factory, to setup a contest where the top six artists which garnered the most votes were selected to be part of the first PWFM record.

Après l'expérimentation de différents genres musicaux pendant des années, Otoktone a trouvé son chemin dans le son. En utilisant des enregistrements sonores et minimaliste, il a créé son propre univers groovy qui pénètre  votre esprit pour mettre tout votre corps en mouvement. 
Zefir est composé de sonorités mentales et de mélodies sombres qui vous raconte l'histoire d'Otoktone.
Pour mon projet Zefir, j’ai voulu emmener l’auditeur dans un univers à la fois sombre et mélodieux ou les sonorités s’entremêlent et s’évanouissent.
La création de cet EP est un mélange de tout ce que j’ai pu faire depuis que je compose et produit. 
J’ai utilisé de nombreuses prises de son que j’ai pu réaliser en studio dans mon école.  J’ai voulu installer une ambiance particulière dans chacun de mes morceaux afin que ces derniers  racontent une histoire et que l’auditeur puisse s’approprier cette histoire.
Zefir est une brise qui vous fait voyager dans un univers ou chaque bruit à son importance.
L’aspect acousmatique de cet EP réside dans le fait que j’ai pu utiliser des matériaux du quotidien afin de produire des sons que j’ai par la suite modelé et assemblé. Le son d’une machine à écrire donne une excellente rythmique, le son d’un élastique ou bien de billes peut donner des sonorités extraordinaires une fois travaillé et modifiés.
Zefir est un hybride entre sonorité digitale et analogique, entre prise de son et machines, entre rêve et réalité.

Zefir EP

Since 2010, Canal Auditif offers a quality alternative to electronic music sphere in France. The aim is simple: going beyond basic “musical categories”, putting forward new trends. Canal Auditif is a true space of sensitive and acoustic experimentations from where young and talented artists are emerging, with some of the most unusual but also the most sophisticated productions. 
Since its creation, the various artists of the label have given birth to several vinyl and digital releases where original productions and collaborations with international artists are mixed. 
2016 mark the launch of Basement', a new branch of the label which tends to highlight some artists with various universe, in the spirit of House Music.

For the first appearance on this new epic adventure, let's introduce a new french duo: MISTRAL .
Mistral has the wind in its sails and let itself being rocked by old House hits from the 80’s, best tracks of the UK Garage and various, mixed to the more recent productions of their era like Nicolas Jaar, Octave One or Weval and more.
Being musicians from the outset, Mistral is composed of Coco and Mathis, two alchemist in permanent conflict about the doses to respect and the source of the product. 
After having travelled through the most instrumental downtempo and then music for shows and performance, they’re facing 2016 with a first EP: “Some Shoes Need Socks”. Between strings, powerful basses and House syncopated rhythms, Mistral redefine a sound space which is both tight and gliding. Some DIY basslines and pans used as snares gives you two tracks, and two remixes of these two tracks.

Ray Charles, at the top of his art in 1961, henceforth referred to as Genius Ray, organizes his first european tour, meeting this new public for the first time. This vinyl record showcases a selection of his best tracks, duly remastered.
The audience gives a standing ovation to Ray Charles, his orchestra and the Raelets choir and one can feel the electric atmosphere all along the two sides of the record.
Concerning the 2 tracks "My Baby" and "What'd I Say", these are bonus tracks. They come from a live in 1962 in Stockholm.
