Kanzi are a UK-based electronic music act made up of Pete Myson (vocals and keys), Dan
Mould (bass guitar), Ed Myson (keys and samples) and Pete Hovard (drums and vocals).
Inspired by artists such as Burial, Radiohead, Animal Collective and Aphex Twin, Kanzi
create an immersive soundscape behind fragile vocals. Crafted in a remote chateau in the
French countryside, Kanzi’s introspective second EP, sketches, early summer, sees them
again team up with burgeoning Parisian electro label Animal Records, the band’s home since
2014. Alongside significant blog attention, Kanzi have caught the attention of Mercury-
Award-winners Alt J, and the NME who claimed “with a delicate falsetto as sweet as this
they’ve earned the comparison [with Radiohead]”. Kanzi have played across Europe, sharing
the stage with acts such as East India Youth, Emancipator, and Simian Ghost, as well as
playing at international festivals including The Great Escape and La Douve Blanche.

Inspiré par des artistes tels que Burial, Radiohead, Animal Collective et Aphex Twin, Kanzi façonne un paysage immersif peuplé de voix vaporeuses.  
Conçu dans un château lointain en pleine campagne française, à l’invitation d’Animal Records leur label depuis 2014, le deuxième EP de Kanzi, “sketches, early summer” est un véritable EP d’introspection.
Un article dans le célèbre magazine Anglais NME décrit Kanzi comme ayant «mérité la comparaison avec Radiohead» résultant de la «délicate voix de fausset», de leurs textures et de la mélancolie des rythmiques.
Kanzi a joué à travers l'Europe, partageant la scène avec des groupes tels que East India Youth, Emancipator et Simian Ghost, et récemment programmé dans des festivals internationaux, tel que The Great Escape (UK) et La Douve Blanche (FR).

Colourful Shores EP (24th of February 2017 on Animal Records) unveils a parallel universe of sanctuary and adventure, layered in texture and universality. With its core focused around improvisation and analogic vibe, the feel of this record is incredibly spontaneous. The acoustic nuances mesmerize and hypnotize. It dances through the body and reaches out for the other. Together in rhythm beyond the holds of space and time: catharsis.
